Ben Stevens
Ben develops the online interface for the Cambridge Mathematics Framework. This consists of a bespoke content management system including user and permissions management, alongside visualisation and search tools.
Ben trained as a mathematician before moving into software development. After graduating from Cambridge in 2010, he did a PhD in mathematics at Oxford, focusing on the analysis of partial differential equations coming from compressible fluid dynamics.
Afterwards, Ben worked for three years as web developer for Underground Mathematics, who produce online resources for A-level teachers. In October 2017 he joined the Cambridge Mathematics team part-time as their in-house software developer. In the rest of his time, he develops his own software – specifically a photo viewing/editing app for Windows.
