Early years curriculum: Full development and design by Cambridge Mathematics
A completely revised early years curriculum (over three years) was designed, developed and partially resourced by Cambridge Mathematics. Each stage was discussed and refined in partnership with the organising body.
This included:
- design of initial learning statements;
- organisation of learning statements into coherent and connected teaching units;
- production of full scope and sequencing for these units, including specific teaching points such as exemplification of specific manipulatives; and
- detailed feedback on textbook drafts.
