Fran leads on school liaison for the Cambridge Mathematics team. She also contributes to the writing of Espressos, Instants and other professional learning resources for practitioners.
Whilst teaching for 14 years in both primary and secondary settings (seven of which were as an Advanced Skills Teacher of mathematics, working on a range of external projects) Fran also enjoyed contributing to maths masterclasses for a variety of ages in a range of counties. She continues to do this and also now gives mathematical talks at venues such as the Royal Institution. Fran was a member of the NRICH team for eight years, during which time she developed and delivered workshops, wrote content for the website and designed and presented professional development courses. More recently she has worked as a freelance consultant, undertaking editing, writing and presenting work both nationally and internationally.
